Launching the DRC’s first-ever food and music festival. Work done for Guinness at Ogilvy Africa, Ghana.
Task
Create a one-of-a-kind brand experience that unlocks cultural relevance, recruits teens aged 16-19, builds brand love and drives volume.
Approach
CokeFest was a two-day celebration that united the people of DRC around their passion for local food and music. The festival celebrated top artists and emerging musicians from DRC, including local chefs, food vendors and artists. We linked the experience to a consumer promo that unlocked tickets, instant prizes and tokens to spend at the festival every time they bought a Coca-Cola bottle.
